How to Create the Perfect Easter Tablescape

How to Create the Perfect Easter Tablescape

It’s almost that time of year again...time for Easter eggs, hot cross buns, and of course, the much-anticipated Easter Sunday dinner. Whether you’re pulling out all the stops with roast lamb or opting for a delicious salad to celebrate the arrival of brighter days, we’ve got all the advice you need on creating the ultimate Easter tablescape. Read on for the know-how…

Choose a theme:

Decide on a theme for your tablescape. This may often be a colour scheme to suit the occasion. For Easter, we love sweet pastel hues such as yellow, baby pink and baby blue.

Choose your tablecloth:

Select a tablecloth that fits your theme and the size of your table. If you're not using a tablecloth, consider using placemats or runners. If you have a round table, you may like to check out the Linen Tablecloth White Round 120in, whilst our Linen Tablecloth White Ivy Leaf 54in x 54in is suitable for both round and square tables.

Choose your centrepieces:

Decide on a centrepiece that fits your theme, such as flowers, candles, fruit, or a combination of items. Make sure the centrepieces are not too tall to obstruct the view of guests. We recommend the Silver Candelabra 3 Branch 8in for an elegant touch.

Set your tableware:

Choose your crockery, cutlery, glassware and serving pieces that complement your theme and the occasion. Make sure to lay them out in the proper order, starting with the plate and working your way out to the glasses and silverware.

Add lighting:

Candles or lanterns can add a warm, romantic ambiance to your tables cape. Place them on the table or around the room to create a soft, inviting glow.

Add finishing touches:

Consider adding small details such as napkin rings, place cards, and even fresh herbs to complete your tablescape. We recommend our Silver Napkin Ring for the perfect finishing touch!

Check your composition:

Stand back view your tablescape from all angles to make sure everything is balanced and visually appealing.

And enjoy your meal, of course!
